CUTTY SARK
—This classic 19th century clipper ship was launched at Dumbarton
on the Scottish Clyde in 1869. Today, she is a seaside museum
illustrating the technology of rapid transportation in that past age.
This kit includes a two-section hull to allow display as a waterline
model or it can be mounted to an included display stand. Decals provide
the intricate gold design carved onto the original. Full sails, deck

AMERIGO VESPUCCI
—This ship was named after the Italian cartographer and explorer
for whom the “New World” was named. A three-masted sailing
ship, it was launched in 1931, and is now a training ship for the
Italian Naval Academy. Its style is reminiscent of a 19th warship. The
model can be built with a full hull, or can be displayed on its
waterline. A stand is included. The intricate gold carving on the bow
is depicted on the detailed decal. Lifeboats, davits, and full-blown
sails are part of this attractive model, and detailed rigging

ESMERALDA Valparaiso, Chile, is the homeport of this beautiful four-masted ship. The power that can be provided by the vast yardage of the sails is evident on this ship, which was built in 1953 at Cadiz, Spain. Now, it is a school ship for the Chilean Navy. A decorative design adorns the stern of this dramatic vessel, and the large emblem emblazoned on the sail is supplied on the decal sheet. Build this ship as a waterline model or add the full hull and display it on the accompanying stand. SAGRES II —The
Sagres II was originally built as the Albert Leo in 1937, and launched
at Hamburg, Germany. After the war, it was taken over by the United
States, who gave it to Brazil. Now, it is owned by the Portuguese Navy.
An attractive ship, it’s square sails are decorated with red
Maltese crosses and the hull is trimmed in gold carvings, all presented
on the decal sheet. Although a full set of sails is provided, the model
can be built to represent the ship with them stowed, as if in port. The
hull can be built full, or you can display it as a waterline model.
This feature allows the models to be shown in a diorama as if
waterborne. Rigging instructions are printed on the detailed

GORCH FOCK
—This ship, built in 1958, is a replacement for the original
Gorch Fock that was designed for training Germany’s sailors. With
its towering masts and full blown sails, this model presents a dramatic
view in miniature of the glorious past of the tall ship. A colorful
decal adds the decoration on the stern of this attractive model. You
can build it to the waterline or use the display stand to show the full
flowing lines of the hull. Detailed deck fixtures are displayed and an

USCG EAGLE
—The US Coast Guard training ship Eagle is one of five training
Barques in use in the world today. It was originally built by Germany
to train sailors for World War II. Launched as the Horst Wessel. It was
acquired by the United States following the war and is now used to
train American sailors. The model can be built as a waterline or
full-hull model and has a display stand. A full set of billowing sails
can be attached to the masts, and directions are provided for rigging.
